The assistant manager supports management in the smooth daily operations of the department. They take over the manager’s responsibilities when the manager is absent. They ensure excellent customer service and consistently maintain high product quality, while adhering to the company’s standards and policies.
- Work toward achieving the goals set by the manager and encourage team members to do the same.
- Ensure proper product supply and maintain attractive merchandising in the department.
- Support the manager with staff supervision and scheduling in their absence.
- Coach and motivate team members to enhance the department’s productivity.
- Maintain product quality and freshness while remaining vigilant in minimizing waste and product loss.
- Actively participate in the preparation and cooking of products.
- Ensure high-quality customer service within the department.
- Collaborate with the manager on inventory tracking, price lists, and merchandising while respecting established budgets.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and ensuring the safe storage of products.
- Perform any other related duties associated with the position.
