White Bean Stew

Ingredients
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 5 cloves of garlic finely chopped
- 2 cans of white bean Cedar
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil or olive oil
- Salt
- Optional: 300 g beef cubes
Preparation
- In a sauceoan, preheat the oil over medium heat. Add the onions and cook for 5-7 minutes until the onions lose their bright color. Add the garlic, cook for 1 minute. if desired you can add the beef cubes and cook the meat until browned
- Wash the beans and add them to the mixture of onions and garlic.
- Add 1 glass of water, salt and tomato paste.
- Mix and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Savor with pita bread or rice.
