Stuffed peppers

Ingredients
- 4 peppers
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 3 finely chopped garlic cloves
- 200 g of brown rice
- 200 g of minced meat
- 150 g of tomato sauce
- 30 g of grated Parmesan
- 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp of paprika
- 1/4 tsp of cinnamon powder
- 1 tbsp of oregano
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180C (350F).
- Cut the top side of the peppers, then remove the filaments and seeds.
- In a saucepan, heat the oil and add the chopped onion.
- Add the meat and cook for about 5 to 8 minutes. Then add the tomato sauce, salt, cinnamon, paprika, cayenne pepper and pepper. Mix well and continue cooking for about 15 minutes.
- Add the rice to boiling salted water and let it cook for 15 minutes. Drain it, add it to the pan with the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
- Fill the peppers with the rice and meat preparation. Then top with the Parmesan and Oregano.
- Cook the stuffed peppers for 15 minutes in the oven.
